My contract was renewed twice and they also offered me a full-time position.

I was using VB6, SQL-Server 7, VbScript, ASP, HTML, Com/Dcom, MTS, IIS, and Index Server

My main project was the complete development (from scratch) of a website content management system, generation and testing system

The role involved the rewrite the public web of a global teleco consultancy/research company site to make it scalable, interactive and easily editable. Web site had user registration and customisation, simple and advanced searching, automated cross-referencing, subscription E-mailing, forums, feedback mechanisms and fully database driven through 3-tier Com/Dcom objects interfacing to stored procedures. I provided easy to use tools for the editorial staff, wrote data take-on conversion software for converting old documents to the new site publishing standard. I also mentored junior staff members and acted as a consultant for web site standards, strategies and architectures. Worked on a project producing a completely new web site for marketing an e-commerce company database by acting as a community web site and portal.
