I was here from 2004 to 2005 This was a contract position, my contract was renewed twice. I was using Compuware (QARun, QADirector, TrackRecord), VB6, SQL-Server, XML and Mercury tools My main project was testing complex credit referencing software – application, website and API XML system. The role involved writing a full suite of testing scripts for functional and regression testing of credit referencing software for one of the big-three credit referencing agencies. Liaised closely with developers. Refactored existing scripts identifying common functions and separating them into a resource library which was documented and published. I later produced test script coding standards and guidelines, and incorporated scripts into a test suite hierarchy within QADirector so that functionally related parts of the system could be regression tested in isolation. While I was there, I also built and enhanced various ad-hoc testing tools.I later worked on evaluating Mercury and migrating test scripts from Compuware to Mercury. |
